Once I buy my Civic (soon, I hope), I may go for them. Right now I'm torn between this great HID price or a set of Sylvania Silverstars.
the HIDs = great price, great look, tons of light
Sylvania Silverstars = lower price, good look, lots of light, cheaper bulb replacement cost
Can you give me any more pros or cons on either?

if you look @ it as a cost factor ... sure, silverstars seem to be the better choice, but everyone and their grandmother has them ... get something original and unique, something that will outlast the silverstars

with all H4 there is a choice to be made
since DRL and highbeams run on the same current, just different output ... most people get a low beam HID application
you will not need the high beams like what you would have with the halogen - since the high beam output would be 3-5 times less light then the HID low beam output

so what your saying is i only need a single output, how will that plug into my factory harness, do they make the connector plug n play??

they plug directly into the stock harness and draw the power needed

Definitely interested... where do I buy? Do you have more pics of the various brightness/color options? Also will they work and are they safe with the stock/OEM headlights in a 98 EX?
