not really a call of duty fan, but might consider getting modern warfare 2 because of the hype. anyone got it and played it? worth getting?

Very much worth it. But thats just an opinion.

It is MUCH better than COD4. **** is insane. Fast paced. Love it.

I played it at a friends house for bout an hour today.... I was good at COD4 but was suckin it up at first, it is fast paced, and choppers/airstrikes are MONSTERS. Still tons of campers everywhere, But motion sensor sniper FTMF[reakin]W

mw2 is awesome!

Heartbeat sensor FTW! The riot shield is pretty cool and allows more ways to play as a team (like 2 up front with shields, 2 heavy gunner behind them and then 2 people watching everyone's back with SMGs = win!)

Haven't played the campaign yet. I also just got rid of my Xbox and now have a PS3. If anyone on the PSN wants to party up and play, gamer tag = D16 beat ya.

I got it for 360 and its awesome. All Ive played was multiplayer. Maps are decent. My name is GnarKillOner if anyone wants to add.

I got the game for PS3 2 days ago, the game was good, started on the campaign, and played a little online. but not my kind of game, i'm more of a sports/ racing kind of games person, but MW2 was good, i might sell it after i'm done with campaign

campaign is great again, online is full of bs again. I mean really does every death have to be from people blind firing through walls before they even know there's someone around that corner or in a room?

Yeah, so far from my experances there is even more campers, but it may be becuase people dont know the maps yet

I think your right about the campers, once people start to memorize the maps they will move around more. I still hate the d-bags who just shoot through walls and stuff hoping to hit someone. I like that you can carry a shotgun now as a secondary, that and a sniper are win.
