Fallout: New Vegas
Thanks Obsidian, Fallout: New Vegas is the glitchiest P O S game ive ever seen If it wasn't for me spending $60.00 on this crap i'd **** on it and send it back to you. If you think GTA 4 or Red Dead Redemption is buggy buy Fallout: New Vegas. Its even worse then Fallout 3 FIX YOUR ****Y GAME NOWISH!

GAH. I was looking forward to getting Vegas when I got my 360 running again. That pretty much blows, I love the Fallout series.
|
i didnt get it because it isnt a bethesda game. i love love love fallout three tho. a-321's plasma rifle, terrible shotgun, gattling laser, and alien blaster. good stuff. did the intense training perk over and over again so my specials would get close to max across the board. r.i.p. dogmeat :(

Obsidian founded in 2003 after the disestablishment of Black Isle Studios. Black Isle Studios made Fallout 1 & 2 then went bankrupted and was formed into Obsidian. Bethesda owns them so thats why they made it. The people who worked on Fallout 3 also worked and made Fallout New Vegas. The game is doing better but its froze up about 6 times and yes i have it installed to HD. I think the problem is the frame rate can't keep up with the game so i hope they patch this ish in the next few day. Oh if you liked Fallout 3 you will like this game better graphics & making custom weapons is great.

Got New Vegas for Christmas... it isn't quite as glitchy as I expected, but it's still far from glitch-free. The thing that irritates me most is when you go into VATS and nothing happens... just slow motion for about a minute and then you go back to regular play.
At any rate, Annabelle + leg shot + Hunting rifle + AP .308 rounds = deathclaw killer :D |
Change the last line to "Sniper Rifle + Sniper Rifle Suppressor + AP .308 rounds + 100 guns skill + sneak = deathclaws are scheduled to be extinct next Tuesday".
Anyway, the reason for this bump: Dead Money - don't know yet, heard it's pretty "meh", will probably get it for the +5 level cap Honest Hearts - .45 Auto and 12.7mm Service Rifle? Yes please. Story's pretty decent, too. Old World Blues - I think I need to raise my energy weapons skill. Still, DO WANT. Lonesome Road - Not much info on it, but I like the idea so far. It'll be interesting to hit level 50. I'm wondering what level I'll max out all skills at. |
Update, Old World Blues was pretty good, particularly the story line; I'd definitely recommend it. Dead Money, on the other hand, is the most frustrating waste of $10 ever conceived. You're taking almost constant damage in some areas, not to mention the looming threat of having your head blown up in certain areas that amount to about 50% of the map. It wouldn't be as bad if it had a decent story line, but to be honest, I don't even know what the story is supposed to be; I was too busy trying not to put my controller through the tv to actually pay attention to the story. I'd have been happier just giving Microsoft $5 for an increased level cap and calling it a day.
Hopefully Lonesome Road is actually half-decent; Dead Money has made me slightly worried about the quality of Lonesome Road. |

I think this might be why I still haven't finished the game... I spend roughly 75% of my time amassing arsenals in this game and I'm not sure why.
"Safehouse 1" (Abandoned shack, Yangtzhe Memorial) Attachment 6733 Attachment 6734 "Safehouse 2" (Cap Counterfeiting Shack) Attachment 6735 Attachment 6736 Attachment 6737 "Safehouse 3" (Brewer's Beer Bootlegging) Attachment 6738 Attachment 6739 Attachment 6740 Attachment 6741 Attachment 6742 Attachment 6743 (Christine's CoS Silencer Rifle in the center, it's not an ordinary silenced sniper rifle) Attachment 6744 And that's just what I have sitting out... I have another arsenal in various storage containers. Also, this isn't even including what I've started storing in the NCR Ranger Safehouse :D |
^ Damn dude lol, I was like that in Fallout 3 but not New Vegas oh well. I just got done downloading Honest hearts, Old World Blues & Lonesome road so i have some catching up to do after i finish Gears of War 3.

Yeah, I had a lot of free time on my hands with the game while waiting for the add-ons to finish coming out... also, I hoard items like no other and figure I might as well have them displayed and whatnot. What's scary is I have well over 100,000 caps stored in containers among the "safehouses", along with several thousand in NCR/Legion money and casino chips. I also have several gold bars stored from Dead Money :D
You'll love those add-ons, though. They completely make up for the crappiness that is Dead Money. The storyline for Lonesome Road is pretty cool, too... it's probably my favorite quest storyline in the game. |
