Default Supercharger Question

I am looking at buying a Jackson Racing Charger and want to know if the d16y8 JRSC with work on d16z6. The reason i ask is because i found a pretty good deal on one and wanted to know if it would work. Let me know. I am thinking it probably want considering most of the other parts are not interchangable but i wanted to check with you guys to know for sure. Thanks in advance

I use Jackson Racing parts myself and have been for around 7 years.

I would call them up 888-888-4079 and ask for the tech dept, they will be able to tell you best if this will happen for you.

This way it wont be heresay, but will be from the place who know's best...know what I mean!

It should, I believe the Y8 and Z6 are very similar.

Yeah, I believe they are the same becasue my instructions are for 92-00, but I think there are some different clearance issues between the generations' engine bay.

But like Wheelbroker said, give 'em a call and ask for Keith, or e-mail him @ taberk@mossmotors.com

I would turbocharge it because supercharger cost some what a lot and doesn't really give you that much whp(about 130whp) compare to turbo.

If its already slipping I would just get a new transmission to take more advantage of the power. A standard transmission swap shouldn't hurt.
