All right so im planning out and engine swap and i was wondering which camshafts would be better Skunk2 stage 2 or buddy club. I heard buddy club doesnt make good cam gears but i havent heard anything about the cam shafts. I was also wondering if skunk would be a good brand to go with for trottle body, valves, retainers and springs. I was thinking of maybe keeping it all the same brand since they probably test for reliability and performance with their own stuff. thank in advance for the advice.

If you've got $7,000, get a full Spoon build and a turbo kit.

Spoon > Skunk2 by a looooong shot.

I think you'd need more that $7,000 for a spoon motor man....

Nope. Only around $5,000 average for a build (depending on whether or not they replace the internals). Much much cheaper if you order from Japan.

id take kappas word for it. Kappa whats the difference thou, like say i send my motor out to spoon to get it built, or sending it to full race. What are the differences?

The difference is the internals. Spoon has gained big popularity among certain racing classes that require you to use stock engine components. If you opt for this, they will take the stock parts, balance them, hone your cylinders, etc. and put them back together. The you've basically got a stock engine that is much stronger and can regularly rev somewhere close to 10k rpm or above. But if you opt for the full build, they will replace all your internals with Spoon parts (or other parts of your choice or that you supply) then balance it all for you. Then your engine is damn near invincible.

And buying from Japan is a lot cheaper than you think. How about a fully built F20C for just over $4,500?
