The difference is the internals. Spoon has gained big popularity among certain racing classes that require you to use stock engine components. If you opt for this, they will take the stock parts, balance them, hone your cylinders, etc. and put them back together. The you've basically got a stock engine that is much stronger and can regularly rev somewhere close to 10k rpm or above. But if you opt for the full build, they will replace all your internals with Spoon parts (or other parts of your choice or that you supply) then balance it all for you. Then your engine is damn near invincible.
And buying from Japan is a lot cheaper than you think. How about a fully built F20C for just over $4,500?

wow.. sounds like ya know what ur talkin about... it also sounds like, when I get my car.. I may keep it forever... lol. one motor down, then I'll just order a new one... well.... prolly not... maybe I'd just get a new vic altogether.... anyways, thanks!
