Suspension, Brakes, Tires & Wheels - Coilovers, springs, etc.????

I have seen the coilover kits and I have seen the springs and camber kits. Whats the difference? I have lowered a truck (a long time ago) and had to use drop spindles. I was talking to a dude at work about it and he briefly explained it to me but I want to know the best way to lower my ride!! Thanks again!!
