well i got my roush rims for the stang the other day. got them from a buddy on fnsweet.com he was upgrading to the roush chromies. the rims came mounted with the kumho ecsta 712's. needless to say im not that impressed with them at all. at first i thought it was just cause i had to burn off the adheasive left on the tread from the tape from shipping. well i managed to burn that off pretty quick. they didnt feel any better after that or after gettin warmed up.

so i wont be running kumhos on the civic thats for sure

thats odd......my kumho 711's give damn good traction on the track as well as through the mountains. there way better than my old nitto's.

actually the 712's are good tires. most of the autocross racers out here run kumho or falkens. few run the toyo's. thats gotta say somthing about the ho's

yea the guy i got the rims from runs soloII.and he used the kumhos. a buddy of mine is runnin the kumho mx's. the look a lot more aggressive than the 712's i gotta see what he thinks after a few miles. i dunno what my plans are for the civic when it comestime to replace the tires. ill prob go with bfg's for the stang and somethin that will last a lot longer on the civic. i dont need no long life tire on the stang. it only sees 7000 mi a year so any tire will last a long time. the civic is a everyday driver so i want some performance and long life. def some nice all seasons

Dont know if there is a difference with Khumo Ecstas in Australia then there is in the states, but I had a set and they were really good! Im running low profile Z rated Falkens at the moment and DAMN are they slippery in the wet. Went up Mt Mee (really awesome touge style road) and was drifting into every corner! Heaps of fun, but came a little close to a few steep drops due to a little bit of understeer...... Needless to say I was more impressed with the Eckys than the Falken. Never again, think I will stick to Pirelli in the future...
Love as always,
