ED-EF Swaps - mini me...91

ok so i have made up my mind for now...im going to be putting a vtec head and the y8 intake manifold on my motor...any tips?..i plan to just put it all on then save the money for internals...forged rods and bigger pistons..but that will come later...so do you guys have any tips on putting the head and intake mani on?.thanks

i hvae thought of a few more questions...what will i need to put this on...i know i have to run some wires for both the intake manifold for the extra injectors and also for vtec...i know im gunna need a head gasket and a intake gasket...and im also gunna need a valve cover...but what else will i need..will everything else bolt right into place?..the guy im buying this from is going to help me out via eamil pics and stuff but i need to get together what im gunna need before i start...thanks

if you have DPFI you need to wire up for MPFI, and you would need to wire in the Vtec, i recomend getting the intake manifold, dissy, head(of corse), and exhaust manifold, i was going to use the same head and hall but went with the DOHC ZC swap instead, you will basicly be doing the MPFI swap+ adding vtec, i know you have to take the oil squirt jet out of the top of the block when you have the head off, thast about all i know.

cool thanks....yea i will be doing it in a week or to..the head and intake mani will be coming in this week or early next week and i just need to make a little extra cash because i will be pulling the motor and replaceing all of the gaskets and seals when i do the head and intake swap...thanks...ill let u guys know how it turns out
