i just brought a 95 civic gli hatch..
and i wanna change the oil and top up some of the other fluids

it didn't come with a user manual so i wanna do my car rite and get the rite stuff...

which oil shud i be using?
10W-30 ?

honda recomends 5w-30......but i use straight 30 weight. its mainly on your preference where you live as the weather doesnt drastically change like it does out here.

Are u considering synthetic? Its kinda pricey but worth it IMO

go to autozone and get a shop manual that will tell all fluids and stuff as well</P>

i would put 5w 30 in it cause that is what i out in my 03 civic

getting the manual will take all the guesswork out of maintenance and save you cash in the long run.</P>

they are probably only like between 10 and 20 bucks

it all depends on what season it is, and how hard you drive your car. i would use a heavier weight of oil for the summer and thinner for the winter. use synthidic if you drive it hard.
