Transmission & Differential - which lightened flywheel is better?

since im already doing the clutch, i might as well do the flywheel too. my question is which of these two is better? the ACT PROLITE flywheel or the ACT STREETLITE flywheel? the link to both of em is here: http://www.mach1car.com/search.aspx?nav=7&sh=Lightened+Flywheels

what is the difference between the two?
keep in mind that this is for my everyday car, thanx guys.

streetlight for streets and prolight for track racing.

if you flywheel is too light, you engine loses inertia and it is harder to launch at a drag strip, and you will have a harder time going up hill without down shifting. a heavier flywheel like the streetlite is better suited for the street/strip and daily driving you do. a prolite would be for autocrossing/roadracing because you don't need a hard launch and you need the engine to rev up/down quicker for shifting

ok, so a lighter flywheel will loose inertia right? so isnt it better to just leave the stock flywheel on? i was thinking of changing it since im doing the clutch, but if its gonna slow me down i dont see the point on gettin one. which one is better, the stock flywheel or the streetlite?

I'm a newbie on here but i have the prolite flywheel and my cars a daily driver. Ef is right to a point car revs up quicker and yes you do have to downshift on steep hills more so than a stock piece. I Also have an act clutch to match and I have no issues with it. Hope that helps you out.

I would keep your stock flywheel for street use.

booooooo lol. although this is true for most, once you relearn to drive your car you wont notice the difference. but really this is personal preference, im willing to sacrifice some driveability for a snappier more responsive engine. as far as launching at the strip, this is true if your one to just drop the clutch and go. i have a tendancy to slip my clutch since i race on street tires. either way i would go by what ef says and stick with the street light unless your willing to lose a little to gain a little.
