Silver civic as shown. Honda's touch-up paint does not freaking match!! what do I do guys?

and I tried to tint the windows myself (cost $15 already). I failed. There were tooo many air spots between the glass and the tint. Imma bring it to the dealer. Any suggestions guys? how much does it cost? stuff like that. Thanks alot guys.

Find a auto custom shop in your area to get the tint done vice getting raped at the dealer.

ya dont have the dealership do anything but sell ya some touch up paint. that you should be able to buy at most auto places... same stuff.

with your air bubles your just not squizen the air/fluid out enough....

tinting is definatly a skill.... im decent at tinting.... BUT ive been trying it for quite awhile.LOL
but i still cannt do windows with to big of a curve.... tho ive been watchen some shows which shows them layen the tint on the outside of the window and while squiging they also use a heat gun.... i asume to help shrink the tint and make it shape to the window beter...
and also to help dry out the window film quicker. BUT im not positive! just what it looks like.... id love to go to one of those tint teaching places BUT i just wouldnt do enough tint to worry about it myself.LOL
i just paid a shop to tint my civic..... that way if it had some problems i just take it back and get it redone ;) which i did have to do by the way!
thiers one minor bad part on my back glass BUT its so minor im not gonna worry about it. just looks like a hair or a cut in the tint about a inch long.
just not worth the hassle....

just make sure the tint shop will warente thier work from defects and for how long! cause if they wont redue it within the first month.... they find another place!
usualy bad tint doesnt show up for about a week....

Tint should cost you around $200-250 depending on how dark you want to go, etc.

I've found that it's just easier to let the pro's do the tint job. I've watched them do it many times through the year and I've also seen a few individuals, such as yourself, give it a try and the biggest difference I've noticed is that the lay folks don't keep the glass and tint material wet enough. You've got to keep it dripping until you can get the tint into position and then squeegee the excess water/soap out from under it along with the air. If you don't do it right, you wind up with air trapped under the film and that's where your bubbles come from.

Me personally, I've gotten to the point in life where it's just not worth the trouble. I'll let the other guy worry about it! ;)
