Inside and Out - Window Tint Question!

OK i live in new jersey and im lookin to tint my windows....new jersey says back windows anything u want front cant touch....I was goona get 5-15% in the back but was wondering if i can get away with tintin the front like 35-40% and pass inspection....i dunno how they check... thanx

they use tint meaters that go on both sides of the glass and shine a light through the glass and measures the % darkness

call ur inspection shop and double check. i would get the same percent tint all the way around imo it looks alot better than having a blacked out rear and light fronts.

NJ no tint will pass inspection on front window

I say wait till its time to get the car inspected and once you have passedm then go get it tuinted.
That way you have 2 good years to use the tint.
