people r telling me 2 do a full ls swap in my 92 civic 4dr lx, but i dont understand isnt the ls a nonvtec engine, doesnt it have less power since its not vtec and if its not vtec wut the hell is it???

its a dohc four banger that puts out tons more power than your base dx engine.

its also perfect for boost since it has lower compression than the vtec model b-series engines...

Four banger = 4 cylinder. Lower compression is better for turboing in general, though you can do higher compression with turbo, you just need a damn good tune. Yes, it'll fit in a 92 LX, although you'll need to modify a few things (wiring, etc.).

so whats so special about the ls motor if its a 4 banger nonvtec motor... is it dohc??? i mean wont i be better off buying a b16a2 or something

The ls b18b1 is dohc non vtec and the lower compression is good for boost as already stated.On stock internals you can achieve 300hp.Its one of the cheapest ways to do an all out swap and to achieve high hp gains.
