Default Noob needs help w/ alarm for 06 civic

Hey
Wats up.
I just bought a 4DR 06 Civic. I love this thing. Ride is really nice.
I customize everything i have so i've started w/ adding some Coastal Konig 18s.
But now i want to install a remote starter and alarm.
Has anyone installed one before?
Any tips on installing it?
Thanks
Dan

get quick splices from your local murrays or autozone, when wiring an alarm these are the greatest thing since sliced bread

and a wiring diagram for your vehicle helps a lot, i actually printed off all civics, so if you want i can scan yours and e-mail it to you or something, because it'll tell you what color wire your parking lights are (ex.) and where the wire is/which harness, so you can splice into them easily and with piece of mind

Wow thanks!
I was thinking about the quick splice but i've heard its better to solder them.
I might try using the quick splice first, save myself some time.
And yeah if you can email me the diagram, i'd appreciate it.
Once again thanks!
I'll PM you my email
