over the years that i have been meandering around honda and import forums i have seen a few people talk about doing it, but nobody acctually try it. the problems i have seen are that all of the honda AWD cars dont put much power to the rear wheels. there is a lot more to it that i cant fully remember, but it i put enough thought into it i might remember everything needed to do it

yeah, basically, the parts you would use were never made for performance, so they just dont hold up to the power and abuse you would dish out. of course you COULD do it, but everything would need to be custom to get it right, and have it be reliable.
