EK Swaps - D16Y8 or D17A2??

I just picked up a 98 Civic 2dr coupe EX (D16Y8)with a bad motor.i want to keep this a cheap project so i am looking at either the stock motor D16y8 but i started to look at the D17a2 off 2001+ civic EX which is about the same price. my Question is, will the D17a2 drop into my 98 civic EX coupe?
