Inside and Out - swapped out shifter knob

I replaced the OEM knob with a pistol grip style (initially) and then tried out a spherical version. I think the the spherical version you see here is a bit better suited to a shifter that is as low as the Civic's. (We have a 1997 CX)However each type of knob has a completely different feel to it. Small hands may not like this one, for instance. It measures 2.2 inches in diameter.

Thanks! Yes, it is translucent cobalt blue - one of my favorite colors.

Sweet. Would be crazy if it lit up. Would also go well with blue lights on climate control/gauges. (If you're into that).

Yeah, It looks sick. I second the blue lights/gauges. I have a light up green shift knob with some green in the buttons, butI haven't done the gauges yet.

I guess I could drop an LED into the resin, just after pouring it. The stuff does exotherm (gets a bit hot), but that shouldn't be a problem. I might just look into that idea.....
