Well, bad news for my wallet and good news for my car. I somehow managed to blow out my right front strut on my car this morning. SOOOO, I've decided instead of throwing a temper tamtrum and sendingit in to Skunk2for repair and waiting for them to get back while my car sits on blocks, I'm going to upgrade. And, I mean UPGRADE. Mainly because I didn't put a lot of thought into my suspension when i first started looking and got a kit with no damper adjustment and since I use the car almost every weekend for track or autocross I need something that'll give me the best of both worlds. So, I've decided on the Tein Flex Coilovers with the EDFC controller. Ran the prices and should run me about $1600 for the whole kit. Anyone used these or know anyone who has? I'm still going to get them, I just want some reviews to see if they're worth the $$.

BTW-- FOR SALE- 2 month old Full Skunk2 Coilover kit w/1 bad strut... $400 shipped

Tein Flex's are damm pricey and pretty nice stuff, but that's obvious.

but I'm not really sold on tein stuff for the money. if i was gonna pay over a grand for coilovers (especially for a honda product) i'd have to go with Toda Fightex coilovers.

if you don't know what Todas are then don't even worry about it.

Problem with Todas is that even used they run like $2000+. I'd love to have a set of em though.

try some tanabes, buddy clubs or kw automotives. i keep recommending these crazy brands no ones heard of because they specialize in racing suspension for japanese imports, especially hondas.

buddy clubs are pretty high on my list too.

You know, I saw a KW Automotive ad for the first time the other day in my SuperStreet. Never heard anyone mention them till now. The only Tanabes I drew a liking to were the Sustec Pro Sevens, but they don't make them for the Civic.
