Default improving brakes

i have an 04 civic that had bad brakes on it and i improved it by swithcing the front rotors to drilled brembo rotors with akebono ceramic pads. its improved but i want more sensitivity in my brakes. i want to barely touch the brakes and it stops like my brothers accord. someone told me to change out my brake lines to stainless stell. just wanted to know what yall think i should do.

Do the stainless braided line first.. it willgive u amore better response.. and if not enough as you want, you can adjust the brake booster.

There are a couple of things that generally contribute to weak brakes. If the car is not driven frequently enough, the pads can glaze (hard outer surface); this gets slowly worse over time. The second thing is balooning of the rubber brake lines, so stainless steel lines will help. I'm assuming that there is no air in the brake fluid, since this will make things worse, as well.

I am looking to do the same.. since about 65% or something like that (don't quote me) of braking is done by the front..I don't want
to mess with the drums in the rear.. i.e. changing them to disc..
Curious...
What kind of price did you get on your setup... ??
Stainless Steel lines eliminated the "flex" that rubber has.. hence a more "solid" feel..

im just gonna throw this out there, but unless you mess with the booster, you wont get the feel of an accord.I know what your talking about though, the 05 altimas and my buddys accords have sweet brakes......but def. do the SS brake line swap.

when you do the SS lines, switch to a better fluid (ATE SuperBlue)
