Exman90 04-12-2007, 04:31 PM what is the best H/E/I setup for my d16y8? i have an aem sri already my05civic 04-12-2007, 07:50 PM answers will very. it's very much personal opinion most common answer: intake: aem/injen/simota/ebay header: dc sports/megan exhaust: magnaflow/apexi/greddy/tanabe/rs-r/megan/ect... blackmetal619 04-12-2007, 11:23 PM well my setup is aem v2, and megan exhaust my05civic 04-13-2007, 12:11 AM ^ your answer falls into my list:D mybrokenblinker 04-13-2007, 07:08 AM v2 intake on mine and dc sports header. WS2 coming soon. my05civic 04-13-2007, 02:27 PM aem v2 and magnaflow for me:D Live_4it 04-13-2007, 04:13 PM Alot of it depends on the price your willing to spend, the best header's, cat-back exhausts, and intakes are very expensive. If I were you I wouldn't get the cheapest out of any of these bolt ons, but I wouldn't spend a boat load unless you got a lot of cash to sling around..... I would just go medium grade. Header: Megan racing header $160, DC sports $360 Air intake: AEM, K&N, Injen short ram air intake $125 Cat-back exhaust: Generally costs $350-$400 for a medium grade cat back exhaust like magnaflow. If you want you could just buy a nice tip and get straighter pipes from the converter to tip, but unless u know what your doing it'll become a headache with welding and matching. You could also get a highflow cat-converter but I wouldn't honda converters are made very well and u might actually loose power. mybrokenblinker 04-13-2007, 08:30 PM ORIGINAL: Live_4it Alot of it depends on the price your willing to spend, the best header's, cat-back exhausts, and intakes are very expensive. THATS A BIG DIFFERENCE seriously... on classified forums, you could get it for less than 200. 360 is definitely like double, maybe retail!?! o.O mybrokenblinker 04-14-2007, 12:26 AM I paid like 210 (so i guess a LITTLE over 200) for mine BRAND NEW |
