Suspension, Brakes, Tires & Wheels - put rims on but problemView Full Version : put rims on but problem ic892003 05-31-2007, 08:51 AM y car veers to the left since i put on my rims yestertday, that measn all i need is an alignment now rite? rice_patrol 05-31-2007, 09:07 AM either that or i think you wheels need to be balanced ic892003 05-31-2007, 11:49 AM they were balanced be4 the guuy put the rims onym ycar Fiirkan 05-31-2007, 12:08 PM AIR PRESSURE!!!.... that is all.... ic892003 05-31-2007, 03:38 PM i checked the air pressure, its fine MY99SI 05-31-2007, 03:40 PM check the camber addiction2bass 05-31-2007, 04:43 PM might be just alignment....... but if it all asudden pulls hard then thats odd... cause if it was alignment ya shoulda at least left it alittle with stockers.... ya might want to lift the front end off the ground and then put the car in gear and get out and look at the wheels... if the wobble.... then mounting was probably messed up.......... just remove the wheel and torque the wheels back on properly........ dont just tighten one lug and then go to the next one.... always crisscross snug them and continue torqen the lugs down... and try it again up in the air and see if the wheels wobble any. if its not that then are the wheels new or used? maybe the wheel is jacked up..... ic892003 05-31-2007, 05:23 PM the wheels and tires are brand new, thats wut im saying, but it doesnt pull to strong, but if i let go off the wheel it will veer a little to the left, is this normal with new rims and tires their 16' rims with size 205-45-16 tires, i think its an alignment i just want to make wure this is normal addiction2bass 05-31-2007, 05:30 PM well if the tires arent the same outter diameter as the stockers than that could be the problem which will increase the offset on the alignment..... might wanna check the tire size calculators and see if your speedo is off any now either... and just get a alignment... |
