vaccuum hookup?

hey guys i blew the block on my 98y5 and bought a 99 y8 block. on the thermostat housing there is what look like a vaccuum line off it next to the temp sensor. my 98 doesnt have that. what is it?

If it connects to a little black cylinder, it's the Air Assist Solenoid. If you're still running your OBD2a ecu, you can just put your 98 T-stat onto the 99 y8 block.
