leave v-tec alone. the engineers at honda have it set already at the optimum rpm. spend your money on some other kind of performance upgrade.

For the same price or less you can just get a more aggressive cam. Probably an easier install too.

I've only heard of two reasonable excuses to change the vtec crossover:
1) If you're running a turbo setup
2) If you have a really, really aggressive cam (Stage II or higher)

otherwise, don't screw with vtec. Honda designed vtec to hit at the best rpm fora stock/slightly modified engine. I agree with Street Sniper... get a more aggressive cam. From what I've read/seen, cams gain anywhere from 10hp up... for a single mod, that's not too shabby (and if you have a sohc, it's only $300 or so).
