After reading alittle more i kinda started thinking, is an air intake gonna really do anything if you have an A/T? Since it shifts at low RPM anyways it seems like there really wouldn't be any noticeable differance besides alittle bit of a sucking sound which to me isn't worth 150 bucks. Maybe an exhaust, some aftermarket springs, or some wheels would be a better investment.
Thoughts? Comments? Opinions? Suggestions?
thanks everyone.

Apparently you've never driven an auto hard before... If you're heavy on the throttle, the car will shift almost at redline (usually 100 or 200 rpm below the car's redline).

Anyway, there are plenty of people (like myself) tuning autos. And, yes, an intake does help. If you don't want to spend $150 on an intake, get a short ram intake for less than $100. The gains are almost asgood as a cold-air. Along with the intake, get a header and an exhaust (full cat-back, and please don't get ebay... they sound like arse), and you'll have a peppy little auto on your hands... trust me.

Thanks alot. Now where exactly can you find a non-ebay SAI for less than 100? The cheapest i have found is 125 shipped for the AEM SAI. I even looked on ebay. I have an 03 EX sedan

$125 is close enough to $100... if you insist on getting something under 100 though, try going to your local stores, or browse online forums.

$50 ebay tube + $40 AEM dry-flow filter= $90 short-ram intake..

most people will agree that the tube doesn't really matter; it's all in the filter.

there are lots of honda civic performance parts (http://www.aftermarketperformanceparts.com/honda-civic-performance-parts.html) that you can install to your ride. it would really depend on your choice plus the budget you have.. a good air filter, muffler and exhaust would be great.. goood luck
