Intake doesn't really matter unless you want a aem v2. Anything will do the job. When it comes to a header and exhaust system you get what you pay for. Buy a name brand. Otherwise it will sound like crap. It will also work like crap

Well, in my opinion, it does make a little difference.
I had one of those ebay "option racing" short ram intakes
it sounded ok, no hp improvement really
but then i bought an INjen Short Ram
I could tell immediately with the hp and more of an aggressive sound.
Just my opinion.

exhaust parts and audio are the two best examples of you get waht you pay for. An ebay exhaust or header will sound noticably raspier than a nice GReddy, Apexi, or even Megan or Magnaflow catback exhaust system. Drop the extra money to do it once right, you'll be happy you did.

I definitly agree with Flip,
pay the extra money and get the stuff that has the name
it's gotta have a name for a reason
otherwise it would be like all the other ebay parts

the ebay intake w/ a name brand filter is a cheap, nice intake. A pipe is a pipe, but the ebay filters are sh*t

as for the header, expect maybe some fitment problems and o2 sensor's not reaching (depending which model car you have), also over time the manifold might crack or something. Theres lot of risk with the eBay headers, myself i've got lucky with mine. I spent $54 on it and it's lasted for well over a year now. I just got lucky, you could too, or it could break next week

I bought me some DC Sports header for my car using this forum...Used but in really nice conditions ..85.00 with shipping. Couldn't ask for more. Good luck with those ebay brands. I just know they give lot's of problems
