The stock Si stereo is 350 watts max. Thats for all the speakers. It has 4 speakers and 2 tweeters up front. And a sub. The amp is 5 channels and probably puts out 25rms clean x 4 and 75rms clean to the sub. This is continuous rms, not max. The max is 50 watts x 4 for the 4-6.5" speakers and 150 watts max to the sub, thats 350 watts MAX. Not RMS continuous.

7 speakers. 4-6.5" woofers, 2 in the front doors, 2 in the rear deck. 2 tweeters in the dash and an 8" subwoofer equals 7 total. 350 watts total MAX/PEAK. About 150-175 watts rms total to all 5 channels. This is just a very close guess, NOT a fact.

how in the world do you replace the tweeters in the dash? if i am not mistaken, they are right where the door and the windsheld meet?

Its definately possible. But no need to replace. When you replace the stock front door speakers, which DON'T have a tweeter in them, your adding another set of tweeters. If you were to replace all 4-6.5" front and rear speakers, then you would have 6 tweeters. Or a total of 11 speakers.

thanks for the info. i forgot that the door speakers didn't have tweeters. I guess the separate tweeters in the dash are used for vocals. yeah it prolly would be expensive to replace every single speaker.
