1 sub in a 2 sub enclosure?
I bought a jl audio 10w3 and a power wedge enclosure. . .I'm starting to rethink my needs. . .I'm beginning to think 1 10 would be more my preference than 2. . .should I:
A: wait for a deal on another 10w3 sub
B:Use 1 sub in a 2sub box. . .seal up the opening that's for the 2nd sub?
C:Sell enclosure and get another enclosure that's sealed and for 1-10in sub?
D:Some other option I'm not currently aware of?
Which and why? I found a deal for my friend, I found a 12w3v2 and enclosure for 100. . .man oh man I wish it were me buying it. . .that seems like a decent sub for the money:-/ dohwell, grass is always greener on the otherside

if you just seal up the 2nd sub hole it will not sound good and most likley not work for very long as it will have way way to much air space. It will sound very sloppy and almost like its not in a box.

I would get a sheet of MDF. make your own enclosure using specs form the manufacturer, or using an enclosure tuning program ( winbox etc) and make an enclosure tuned the way you want it.. and call it a day..

the JL powerwedge boxes will far exceed anything an amature box builder could make. My advice is to save up for another, or sell the whole setup and start with a new plan. Ghetto rigging in car audio almost never ends in a happy story
