Hi all -
Glad to find this site. I just purchased a 2005 Civic Coupe LX special edition, with the 6 disc CD/MP3 player. This car is great and the stereo is incredible. It's a very nice change from the 94 Escort wagon I used to drive!
One small challenge with the MP3 function: the owner's manual says that you can move through folders on the disc when in MP3 mode, but I can't seem to figure out what exactly they mean. I burned a disc with 4 different folders on it (the same way you'd burn data files and folders to a disc), each folder containing MP3s, but when I loaded the disc into the stereo, the system couldn't read the disc and belched it back out - no error message popped up, it just ejected the disc.
I have discs containing MP3s that I've been able to play on the system without any problems. I want to take advantage of the folder function, though, rather than scrolling through 100+ songs to find what I want. That seems rather hazardous while driving.
Any advice on how to burn MP3 discs for optimum playback using the folder function is welcome.
