I was hoping to get some idea of what cat's other people have used.

I bought a universal Magnaflow cat and was in the process of installing it on my 1996 Si coupe yesterday. The size and length are perfect but.... the O2 sensor location is on the wrong side, and it's on the wrong angle.... Ooops.

Any details of cats that you have used would be great!

Thanks!!!

Lol! No.... It wasn't because I put it on wrong. :P The stock cat has the O2 sensor on rear of the body of the cat and it's on the passenger side (didn't know that at the time and didn't think it would matter too much.... doh). The universal I bought has the O2 sensor on the rear as well, but it is on the driver's side, and also it's set at an angle which makes it impossible to put it on. I know that there are direct fit cats, but in/out are only 2" in diameter. I need one that is 2.5" (even 2.25" would do). Basically, I need a 16" total body length, round body cat with an O2 sensor in the rear on the passenger side. I'm hoping that someone else has installed a universal cat on their car as well.
