EP Swaps - Swapping A D17A1 with a K20A3

My dad has a friend who's selling a used k20a3 engine, so im planning to put it in my '01 civic LX which already has a D17A1 engine. I haven't found out how much the k20a3 is yet because i just found out today from my dad, So i was just wondering what parts am i going to need to swap out the engines and an estimation on how much the parts for the swap is going to cost around?

sorry 2 piggyback, but i plan on doing the same thing in my em2, i figure building up a k20a3 is a pretty good way to go since i dont want to sell my car. any help is apreciated.

how much horsepower comes along with that engine?

k20a3 aka 02+ Si and base model RSX, should be 160 HP. i would rather swap an a2 which is RSX-s engine, pushin around 197.

if u get the engine really cheap then its a good swap but its still going to be expensive , K series are really hard swaps and IMO not worth the effort unless u have a good amount of money to play around with.
