Quick Help Guys, Need it ASAP
My civic headlights were on, for hours, and battery is dead. Now we are about to jump start it but its raining.
Is it ok do to it in the rain?
if not we can wait till tomorrow morning
However the weather will be about 32F at night. Will the battery freeze up at night? It says "
DO NOT TRY TO JUMP-START A FROZEN BATTERY!! THE BATTERY COULD EXPLODE!"
What to do?

yes. I've done it in the rain. I've never heard that. Im going to porter and chester for automotive technology and i have never heard that.. I've jumped batteries while its raining out and they have been sitting in the cold. Thats just me though don't hold me to it.
It's safe to jump-start a car in the rain. Normal precautions should be followed but there isn't a shock hazard, because the voltage is too low. Unless you're sticking wires right into your heart or something there's really no way to die from 12 volts.
You don't have to worry about the battery freezing if the temperature is only going to 32 or a little below. It is best for the overall life of a battery to get it charged up again as soon as possible after running it all the way down.
