Help, I have a 2005 EX with AUTO trans for a month now, been driving all over without any problems,
but today the transdied on me. Engine light came on, can't get car to runin drive or reverse.
We change the trans oil, put gear in drive rave the engine speed odomerter didn't move.
Towing to trans. shop tomorrow. They said it may be the filter pluged.
Anyone had this problem or may have any ideas.
I have 38K miles, dealer said warranty expired after 36K Mi..

When the light comes on that means that the computer has stored a trouble code, which could give considerable insight to the problem. Especially if your transmission was still full of clean fluid when you drained it, you probably have an electrical/control problem outside the transmission.

Does the speedometer go up when you put it in drive and rev the engine? If so the transmission is engaged but there's a problem with the drive axles.
