Hey guys,

Some friends just recently got me into car modding, and right
now I have a stock '99 Civic EX, dark green.. only thing I changed
are the speakers, but I want to increase my performance. So, hopefully
you guys can give me some advice! I'll be posting in the other sections.

 

welcome to the forum. how extreme to you plan to go with tuning your civ? you will hear alot that the best place to start is the intake and exhaust. depends how much money and/ or time you want to invest from there.

 

Well, I found out I have a DX, so I am not going to do much, maybe just the intake and exhaust.. I think I am going to go more for appearence and utility... I want to be flashy... so, body kits, new stereos and loud subs and speakers are what I am aiming for...

What do you think looks best on the 1999 Civic?

 

just a simple lip kit. most of the body kits out there for civics are horrendous.
