i recommend AEM for intake. I have their short ram intake and it's great. Get an AEM cold air intake with their "Dryflow" filter. Or you could get the AEM V2. I've heard it's amazing.
kool ill have a look,i just dont know what one would fit my car :S or would most fit?

you just need to look for one that corresponds to the year of your vehicle.
hmm i checked the AEM site thay only seem to have 1.6 engin sizes :S ?

what year is your civic?
the fact that it's designed for the 1.6L might not matter... i had a civic with a 1.5L engine and i used the 1.6L version intake no problem. It all depends on the following:
As long as your throttle body is in the same spot as the 1.6L's throttle body and the engine bay has the same contours and shape it should work.

does your throttle body have that opening pointing up, or to the left while looking at the engine?

alright, so you need the same intake that a 96-00 USDM LX, DX, or CX would use. like this. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HPS-Cold-Air-Intake-Honda-96-97-98-99-00-Civic-CX-DX-LX_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ38634QQihZ007QQitemZ 170229704849QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW)

if i were you i would buy a cheap one on ebay like this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/96-00-Honda-Civic-CX-DX-LX-Cold-Intake-System-97-98-R_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ38634QQihZ021QQitemZ3 10059803838QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW) and buy an AEM filter.

Once you get the intake you'll have to measure it or ask before you order it, and buy an AEM, injen, or K&N filter for that size piping. generic eBay intakes are adequate, but the filters that come with them are junk.
good plan ill see what there is on ebay then :) thnks
