I am in the process of moving to Canada from the US and will be taking my '04 LX with me. According to the Honda Dealer in Canada, there is no "factory" way to activate Daytime Running Lights on my car.

So, I am going to use relays to activate the fog lights (It has the OEM Honda kit). I was thinking of just hotwiring the relay with an igition source (power jack or something).

has anyone else activated DRLs on thier 01-05 civic?

 

I think you need a different wiring harness to have "factory" DRL. Canadian auto parts stores sell a kit to convert to DRL. It is indeed basically a relay that bypasses the light switch whenever the key is on.
