Default Disabling 09 Civic Si Daytime Running Lights?

I searched the forums and couldn't find anything for the 09's with this question. So does anybody if you can/how to disable the DRLs?

I don't have the 09 Civic fuse box diagram, but typically the DRL can be disabled by removing one of the DRL fuses under the hood or dash. When you identify that specific fuse, would you please post the information in this thread so that others may benefit.

Haha. Removing a fuse will almost certainly be the solution. There should be fuse diagrams on the covers for the dash and hood fuse box. The fuse should be labeled DRL. There may be more than one. Try each one at a time.

http://www.lightsout.org/disable.html#Honda

"2006+ Honda Civic. Confirmed on 2009 Civic Si as well. Simply remove fuse #37 (7.5A) from the INTERIOR fuse box (under the far left side of the dash). Goodbye DRLs. Absolutely NO after-effects (i.e. - idiot lights, etc.). Clean and simple!"

This came from the "Association of Drivers Against Daytime Running Lights" web page (link above)

Works as advertised. Just did it and checked all light functions and everything is in working order.
