North East - paint job needed NYC

I was looking into Earl Scheib to paint my EG Hatch. But I see about a 90% negative reviews on them. Can someone point me to a good place. I live in Brooklyn, NY. The car is not a show car, but i want a good job done on it. I'm hoping for maybe 600-800 (other than prep no bodywork necessary) to do it. I would like to change the color but if not doable i'll stick with stock. thanks

It will be a lot cheaper to keep it the same color. Schieb just roughs up your old paint and sprays on new over whatever is on there. No primer, no clear unless you get like a "premium" package, but for the price of their premium you could tkae it to someone who knows what they are doing. Schieb and the like are the fast food of paint shops. For 600-800 with no body work you should be able to find someone skilled.

I'm all the way in La. sorry, Bro. To be honest with you, I would look for mom 'n pop shops. Some of the best don't work for other people, and it'll probably be cheaper.
