Has anyone painted their auto a matte color rather than glossy. I am really into the old hotrod look, and i am looking to do a flat black with white and red pinstripping. Any one else done this? The flat color that is.

 

havent done it personally but there is a car club that does it to all their cas/trucks i dont remember the name but they had a civ on bags at the blood drag down here in florida and it lookd good with the primer black/flat black( i think the name is scrapin metal or somthing of the sort) they vynal the name on the primer black with chrome letters and it looks nice...never seen the white and red pinstriping... sounds good go for it..the pinstriping will set it off and make it yours[sm=smiley20.gif]

 

nope never done it or seen a car like that, but if you do you know i will want to see how it turns out so i can praise your cars paint

Yeah I was looking at either white or red rims. I am looking for something that is an aesthetic equivalent to this:

yeah so has any one seen any performance rubber with a thin whitewall. i never have, thinnest tire I have ever seen with whitewalls was a set of tires on a lowrider but they were too thick for a civic

I'v see a few people that have done it. It's not bad.
