It might help if you had a picture of the rims you had in mind. They don't have to be the same color, but the pic needs to be sort of the same angle as the pic you attached. It might also help if you could upload your pics to a site like photobucket so we can have larger images to work from. Perhaps you can also link to a sample of the blue you have in mind?

You pay hundreds of dollars for Adobe Photoshop CS2 or CS3 and learn how to use it over the course of several years.

Search the internet.
There's these things called "tutorials"... kinda freaky, i know.

I'm only being a dick because you totally abruptly jacked this guy's thread. Starting your own thread and asking for advice on how to use it would have been perfectly acceptable.

Or you can torrent it like I did with Adobe Premier XD... seriously, these programs are a ripoff... Premier is a $600 program.

Great wheel chop. The blue rotors are really hard to do, so you'll have to imagine lol. Here's the body matched to that color.

Instead of jacking this thread, can you make one of your own and supply some stock images to work from?

in moderation it is easily forgivable but i can barely find one thread you posted in that you didn't threadjack
just make a new thread

It looks a bit ricey in my opinion, but it's your car. You can do whatever you want to it.

well thanks to both of you guys i like the color with carbon fiber hood and blacked out tailights and headlights. Do you guys?
my recommendation:

-a slightly darker blue for the body and lip (find rims you like with the lip already blue -if you don't plan on painting wheels- and then match the body to that lip color. if you are going to paint the lip, i'd still go with a darker blue.

-stock hood

-blacked out tail lights

-black housing headlights from ebay (don't tint your headlights... it's not a good idea at all)

-lower the car 1.5-2"

true ya i need to blue a little darker i like the stock blue color for 2000 civic si , also what do you mean dont tint the headlights? Whatr headlights are you talking bout?

trustdestruction
01-14-2009, 09:05 AM
don't tint headlights for the obvious reason... reduced light output, which means reduced visibility.

i use gimp with a laptop touch pad

see the lip on the rims? i made that with a simple brush and zoom
personally, i hate using mouses, and i'm much more skilled with a touchpad

then again... i do have a mac, so maybe that's why
i've used touchpads on other computers and hated them... they just don't usually make the pad big enough

Justin13

my pad is about 3" width, 2" hight
