i need to put on a driverside stock mirror off a 2000 honda civic. how do i go about this? a buddy took it off and never put back on.

are you talking about the side mirrors at the doors? you might need to remove to door panels a bit. then you pull out the triangle plastic. you screw the mirrors back on and plug in the plugs if you have power mirrors. and then pop the triangle piece back in.
