Default Staticy/Cut outs during music

Hey guys, been awhile but i've been pretty busy.

So to tell you my setup real quick.

I have 2 15" alpine subs in the trunk, with 3 eclipse amps, 2 capacitors, and an epicenter all in the back.

Also about 5-6 months ago I bought 4 alpine speakers, 2 in front, 2 in back.

Okay with the problem.

Seems like recently in my music when I have bass on, and turn my audio. I'll hear a static noise.. and sometimes eventually the sound will go out, but subs will still hit. Now then the sound won't come back on until I power off the audio, and turn it back on.

Now if the subs aren't on, or very low, I can turn my speakers up pretty loud without having any static. But when the subs hit harder, you can hear the static, and it'll eventually go out.

Now the wires in the back aren't exactly organized. Its a big mess back there. I'm thinking something is happening with a exposed wire, or the sub is moving something and cutting it out.

But what do you guys think?

it could be a possibility of a bunch of different things. does that static's pitch fluctuate with engine RPM's? if so, you have a ground loop problem. this can happen when unshielded RCAs are run too close to a power wire. since the wires are a mess, i would suggest cleaning them up with some zip ties and screws. also, check to make sure you are grounded properly. then check the fittings around the epicenter. i've had a couple i've had to take the cover off and move the jumper on the inside because of a ground loop problem.

I would say you have a grounding issue or a serious voltage drop issue when your bass hits. How much power are you running? Is your alternator and battery stock or stock equivalent?
