HCF Project Section - My new DD project

So yeah bought this car about 2 weeks ago for 700$. It had a good running Y7 in it. I got rid of the Y7 and now I am building a B16A. I am gonna spray it and turbo it. I am doing a 75 dry shot from zex. I will be running a pretty sick setup wanna make like 450 500 whp for this car.

I guess it is a piece of **** right now it needs allot of work. I have to completly redo all the suspension, cambers, control arms. The driver side back wheel is crooked.

Wow, that car need's a lot of TLC, but for the price.....i think i would have jumped on that to. Good luck with her

Yeah I took a pic of it as I primer it right now. I haven't had time to mess with it today. I am still on the search for some high comp pistons. If any of yall have some for a B16A 81mm then I want them forged. I have 2 short blocks right now I really cant decide what one to use right now.

I have a PR3 head to use for either motor.

So I have a head that I can use for either Should I do a ITB NA motor or do a turbo LSV with a T67 turbo and a edelbrock intake mani I already have a 900+ whp civic in my other thread I just have never done a NA car.

hmmm thats a tough decision. I say go N/A for your daily driver. It would be cool to have one n/a and one turbo. But man im so jealous of you. I really really wish i had the same problem as you. haha

Well I am changing pil once a week man. But hey the engine I dont use I really wanna sell it or trade it for a shell. I really wanna get a dc, or a EG HB. I sold the EK coupe last night for 8K finished now it is in the paint shop today will have her back here in 3 days. Then I will have to start putting it back together.

This was done on the 21st the car is at the paint shop right now. All the parts coming in are CF minus the bumpers but there already paint code matched. I stripped off all the damaged body parts. Now I am waiting on my new headlights, spoon CF mirror, Spoon CF hood, SIR bumpers front and back. I oredered the bumpers from a friend in TX he is sending them to me painted. The car will be done with paint tomorrow. Then to fit the JDM side markers. I am gonna fit the mirrors. I bought the 00 civic ctr consol for the dash so I can use a double din. I am using the same in both cars. I am getting another 00 HB so I can replica my drag cars looks but have a NA car for a DD with ITB's and then have a super car and they will both look the same minus the intercooler in one. I love the Rage header, its a bit over priced, but it make's the most Hp.

OK your gonna get mad I paid 175 and yes it is a real Rage Tri Y not a E bay knock off. I know these things run real high price but i have friends. I really didnt know anything about the company before yesterday. I had to call them to authenticate it.

Ok well this car na with a set of itb's on this motor fully built with all new or freshly machined parts 0 miles on it all 10K I will sign over the title and ship it for ya. shipping not included in the 10K. I just bought a 09 sierra denali today.

Ok so I have decided to go NA with this car and no ITB's. Why no ITB's cause no ****ing company has any in stock. Well anyways just built it today, started at midnight last night when I got the rest of the build parts last night. I hope to see it make 250whp on 93. IDK this is the first NA build I have ever done. I will post pics within the hour.

It's not a yukon its a sierra denali and I ddi buy one if I can find the rides section ill post it up lol. But hey Just finished this build all the touchups are done and as soon as I can find a Hydro tranny Ill drop it in there. I just ordered a set of Inovative motor mounts for it just the blk ones though. I dont want anything to flashy on this car. Oh the car didnt sell by the way he backed out so oh well. Plus I just got those other cars to so I need to get two more cars done by next weekend so me and my friend are gonna build them. Oh yeah I have to order a Dizzy for it to dang.

Um i kinda find it hard to believe that you make this much money from the navy. I have friends that are in the service and they dont have this kinda money.

I told ya I build allot of cars and well my wife is military as well.

Ok here it is done for the night tomorrow it gets the fuel rail and lines installed and the block gets taped for the oil press sensor. I will be taping the calve cover and using a catch can I am making a 1L. catch can from 6061 aluminum. I am also gonna put some spoon sports cam gears on it. I hope to have it all done tomorrow if I can weld the can quick enough that is.

Ok so yeah I just got the gears on and the alt and all that good stuff. I am gonna do the install as soon as I pick the trans up. I have to replace the input shaft bearing though.

Sorry.......iv never heard of them, who are they?

They make really bad ass transmissions. This tranny goes for like 1200 from them. Carbon gears and syncros. It is all heat treated. Basically it is really awesome. Oh and the gear speed LSD.
