To the best of my knowledge, the only AWD USDM Civic was the 4th gen Civic Wagovan.

You could probably modify CR-V parts to fit if you were mechanically adept

My buddy has a 93 civic hatch with D16y7 I believe? Not to familiar with the D series, and the year might be wrong. Anywayz, he claims that the tranny will sync up, so if he can do a little bit of engineering, it would be possible to have an awd D series civic.

I dont think the D series would work, the B-series on the other hand I do belive could work with the CR-V tranny and drive train

the drivetrain in those old school awd civics is trash. its made for a little extra traction in snow. if you put any kind of serious power through it, it would implode.
