people usually change the water pump while they are changing timing belt since its in the same generalized area, oh and the tensioner as well

cap and rotors is the distributer

tranny and coolant flush basically drain and fill or you can get it flush at a shop basically flushing the system out of old tranny/ coolant fluid and replacing with new ones

also check all your ball joints and tie rods. if any have grease nipples then get a grease gun and fill them up.

Pull out your Honda Maintenance manual and make sure that everything is at least checked. Replacing the fluids (anti freeze, transmission, etc) is always a good idea when buying a used car. That way you know where you stand. If you don't have the maintenance manual here is the link http://hondatech.info/downloads/Auto/Manuals/Civic/

A lot of this stuff is easier if you have some place you can put it up on a rack and get under the car and just look around.
