Hi,

I live in the San Diego, CA area and would like to know the average cost for the Honda Civic LX and the EX out the door. I'm considering buying it at the end of the year and would like to know the price of these two models. Thanks.

Um, you're going to have to be a little more specific than just EX and LX. Coupe/sedan? What options are you looking for? Auto/Manual? and probably most important...what year?

I'm planning on buying a 2005 Honda Civic Sedan. Automatic for both the LX and EX.

I like how people come here instead of www.honda.com

Okay, for anyone buying a new car, here's the way to do it:

1. Pick your make, model, trim, and options that you want
2. Type it all up on a "tender" then fax it off to a bunch of dealers and ask for their best price
3. Sit back and wait for the prices to come in, then choose the one you like

No more hassle with salespeople, or sales managers. No more wasting your time. Either they want to make a sale, or they don't. With the fax, they can't play the old waiting game until you "break" and then make you sign. You choose who you want to buy from and when you'll buy from them.

For my 2005 Civic EX Coupe Special Edition I paid $17,000 and with all the other tax and crap I paid $21,000 total. I think the car alone was priced at $19,500 on the honda site.

O yeah, buy the performance package. It is pretty sweet. I reccomend the ex with the package.
