1995 civic

I can't live without the AC in the car. I will need for the summer because the last car I had with no AC because I neglected to refill it turn out to be a very bad experience, and plus my car is purely for cruising. I am not in to racing or any of that stuff, not to mention I learn my lessons after getting my license suspended for excessive speeding tickets and having a ton of fines.
Besides the missing A/C system, are there any other obvious problems with car?
Was the ECU converted to OBDII along with the engine?

and then the radiator leak that's creating a puddle on top of his fan shroud
he's also missing the coolant system bleed bolt
nothing holding the battery down
needs to fill his power steering fluid reservoir, it's low
missing an important bolt that holds the power steering high pressure side line to the pump
needs upper timing belt cover
also looks like he only has half an intake.
engine is a d16y7, FYI

Are you seeing those issues in the pictures? I also think the upper timing belt cover is missing.

I don't think the engine is either a D16Y7 or a D16Y8. What do you think? A D16Y7 doesn't have a bleeder bolt for the cooling system and the air intake system also looks different. Actually the throttle body and intake manifold may be from a D16Y8, though it's hard to tell in the picture.

it's a d16y7.
it has been swapped into his 1995 civic. it appears that only the block/head were swapped, so all the other parts are still there. it had a d15b7 originally, so it's probably wired to run OBD1 on the original ECU, which should be fine.

As I mentioned above, neither a D16Y7 nor D16Y8 has a cooling system bleeder bolt. In addition, the throttle body and intake manifold are definitely not from a D16Y7 but may be from a D16Y8 (not sure from picture). The valve cover, however, could be from a D16Y7 or D16Y8.

how does the cooling system bleed then? that would explain why i thought the bolt was missing though.

The throttle body and IM are definitely not from a D16Y7.

it's from a d15b7
here's what I think we're looking at:
D16Y7 block and head
D15B7 Intake manifold/TB
D15B7 exhaust manifold
D15B7 intake (only half of it)
P06 ECU (D15B7)
D15B7 engine wiring harness
