Thank god I live way out in the country with my parents when I'm home on break. I'll just put the car in my back yard and call up the three people including my great aunt and uncle that live anywere near one mile of me.
Plus half the local fire department and I are on a first name basis!

Make sure the area behind your exhaust is clear. When i did mine, my aunts minivan was behind my car and her whole hood and bumper got covered in carbon took awhile to clean off

I don't thinkit really matters if your engine is hot or not, but I would think it would be better if the car was warm then the fluid would get into all the places it needs to clean it out.
