How can I improve my civic performance.

I have a d16y8 5 speed with a stg II Crower Cam. The sound is amazing, even with a stock cat back exhaust. In addition, I would suggest to upgrade Valve train if you decide to go this route just as Reaper stated. I have SuperTech valve springs, retainers. I did not upgrade valves tho. A tune is essential for this. I do not have mine tuned yet, so I am not driving it. I am actually awaiting an E-manage as we speak to control the fuel ratios (I am misfiring on 3 cylinders to due too much gas etc etc... ugh. long story). I also upgraded the Intake Manifold, put a new head gasket in, upgraded head bolts, Cam gear, and added a Hondata Intake Manifold Gasket. All set me back arounf $1300 total and about 20 hours of labor (1st time doing this). Nitrous would prolly be cheaper and more instant satisfaction, but I am keeping my set-up N/A for now. Good Luck!

don't mean to thread jack, but why opening lots of similar treads ...
worths the cost of those expensive brands for these quite simple pieces like air intake, catback exhaust and so? because in ebay you can buy an intake for about 9 bucks, and all of them looks like a simple piece of pipe. a branded one reaches 200 or even more! maybe the filter is interesting to be branded. other question, wouldn't be nice if the pipes is made by some material that isolates internal air been intaked from the heat of the engine compartment? like plastic? because aluminum is know to conduct and gets hot really fast. i also saw on ebay some catback that looks like been well build for about 50 bucks.
well, lucky you guys that lives in a 1st world country and got easy access to those parts. here they over tax and got really greedy on profit. that's why i like ebay, even paying an expensive shipping, lol.
