Will SRI and new perfomance muffler improve car performance?
Hi guys! Is it necessary that in order to have a better or improved car performance, installing an intake such as short ram intake and a performance muffler is needed? just curious because if you have more air coming into the engine (input), should it be necessary to have the same output (muffler) to balance the flow? Or is it better to replace the header insteaad of muffler alone.
The reason why I asked this is because I've installed a SRI on my car but my muffler is still stock. I noticed whenever It shift to the last gear, I always feel that the engine reduces rev. Is that from the flow? Thanks in advance.

yeah get a header before u get a muffler...and yeah the rev diffs are because of flow, i noticed similar changes in my accord while in 4th/5th gear...
intake will get u some gains and is good. muffler wont do anything but be loud, if u want more power from ur exhaust, look into headers or cat-back exhaust.
